Literacy Volunteer affiliates serve communities throughout New York State
If you are an adult student who needs help with English, reading, writing, math, or other basic skills, contact the program in your area or the Literacy Volunteers of New York State office — (716) 631-5282 or e-mail: [email protected].
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer literacy tutor, contact the literacy affiliate in your town or county or the Literacy Volunteers of New York State office. Literacy Volunteers provides materials and professional training that will enable you to become a Basic Literacy and/or ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) tutor. Other volunteer opportunities are also available.
